Our Fixed Dentures Treatment Process
The procedure begins with Dr. Akeel placing two to six dental implants in your jaw, depending on how many teeth you’re replacing and how much healthy bone tissue you have in your jaw.
After the surgery is finished, you’ll need to allow three to six months for your implants to fuse with your jawbone. This process is called osseointegration and it’s the key to your restoration’s stability.
While you wait for your customized dentures, we can provide you with a temporary restoration so you don’t have to live with gaps in your smile.
Once your mouth is fully healed, you can return to our office and Dr. Akeel will finish your treatment. At this point, all that’s left to do is enjoy your sparkling new smile.
